There are two solutions to this problem:
1) Upgrade the AdobePS driver to 4.2.5 or later and
recreate the PDF file.
2) Change the AdobePS driver to send fonts as Outlines
rather than Type 42 (Printers folder, Acrobat Distiller
Properties, "Fonts" tab, "Send Fonts As..." button to bring
up "Send Fonts As" dialog, change "Send TrueType Fonts As"
pop-up from "Type 42" to "Outlines"). However, using this
2nd option results in a PDF file that cannot be searched or
selected. |
